As owner-operator of my business, E DESIGNS, it is thrilling to help people like you with their home decorating needs.  I grew up around custom sewing and began sewing custom slipcovers over 8 years ago.  The home based business has rapidly grown to include many soft touches for the home, including window coverings, pillows, table coverings, etc.  During summer of 2001, I attended a course on the Foundations of Interior Design in Dallas, Texas to further expand the horizons of my training and personal design skills.  I have participated in the Custom Home Furnishings Conference training course, attended several Window Fashions Regional Training Seminars, and I am a part of their certification program (WFCP).  In addition to attending training courses and trade shows, I continue to expand my own design library and education at home.  I have also completed training for Redesign and Home Staging with certified I.R.I.S. trainers.  The redesign services that I offer focus on using what is already in your home to give you a new look that is not only eye pleasing, but functional as well.  I aim to enhance and honor the special furnishings in your home.  We all choose things for our home for a reason.  I enjoy helping clients capitalize on the selections have already made, while creating an interior that is captivating and comfortable for those who dwell there.  In the rush of life, it is easy to lose sight of the home's importance.  As our lives become busier and the outside world more demanding, our homes need to be a place of respite and safety.  One of my goals is to bring the simple good things to light and life in the homes of those who desire a dwelling that is a place of calm. -- Elizabeth Johnson I.R.I.S.
